Finding this article on Depression was not that hard. I did look through multiple different articles before deciding to do my assignment on this one. This one seemed to have the most information in it, as well as having the most factual details. It outlined what depression is in great detail and was extremely easy to understand. My perception of the information and source has not changed after filling out the evaluation sheet. I still believe that it is a good source to go to to find information on something. It had a lot of references as well as a lot of details on the subject of Depression. This website helped me to understand more fully what depression actually is and taught me things that I never would have known had I not gone read this article. I would definitely use this website for a research article or a course assignment. It has a ton of information on the topic and also has references for where the information was found. The website is also reviewed by a medical editor, who has worked in the medical field and has also been a professor at a university who taught on the topics of medicine.

The currency of this information is up to date. An individual looking for information on this topic could easily find this website article and all of the information would still be current. It seems like the information would be updated when new information on the topic is discovered, although it has not yet been updated since being posted. The information given was also relevant to the topic I was searching. It had a lot of information on Depression, more than I thought I would find when searching about it. I looked at multiple sources before I decided on this one, due to the fact that it had the most information. Although the site did not give a lot of information on the author, it did have a lot of credentials behind it. The person reviewing the article was a Medical Editor and it had affiliations with a ton of health programs that actually exist. The article was also extremely reliable, as it had information that was also on multiple other sites that I found in my search. The information was reviewed by doctors and people in the medical field, which proves that ti is factual and reliable. The tone of the article showed that ti was not biased in any sort of way, which is how an article on a medical condition should be when it is reviewed by medical professionals. The purpose of the information in the article was to let people know what depression actually is. It gave factual evidence on what depression is, what the signs are in someone with depression, and also told readers the different types of depression that there are.
